ONE News Entertainment Reporter Dominic Bowden made sure of some Oscars Wins for some of New Zealand’s poorly children last week, by securing a small piece of the red carpet that was rolled out for the 2009 Oscars in Los Angeles. Dominic plans to auction the piece to raise funds for kiwi kids diagnosed with cancer. He is now based in L.A., but is sending his very rare souvenir to New Zealand to raise money for Child Cancer.
It has been confirmed that Alison Mau will join the breakfast hosts team to present Breakfast with Paul Henry from late March, while Pippa Wetzell is on maternity leave. Alison and Paul last combined as Breakfast hosts together in 2004. Mau will be recognisable as she has been recently reading the news on Breakfast on Thursday and Friday mornings.
